This is my first time visiting Brakers market, they are a family-owned business located just west of Eureka, Illinois. I've drove by a few times, and I've seen the beautiful chairs and tables sitting outside, so I was looking forward to finally see what they were all about! I saw that they were having a fall celebration, so it was a great opportunity to go and check it out! They offer a wide selection of goods including furniture, decorations, deli meats & cheeses, seasonings, meats, candy, foods, baking ingredients, baked goods, fresh peanut butter, apple cider, made-to-order sandwiches and donuts, toys, clothes, and so much more! Today, they had samples of a lot of the things they sold, which was nice to be able to taste before buying. They were making fresh made to order Donuts right there in the parking lot today, so we had to try those out, although high in sugar, they were some of the best donuts I've ever had. This will be a place I visit regularly now since they have so many different types of products not to mention the cafe that they have there on site. Next time we'll have to try out one of...

Read moreThe pros and cons of this place are many. I have gotten attitude from more than one employee. I live local and find the amount of traffic to be worrisome. I worry that the amount of customers in the store could be over the amount that is safe. I also find the new room at the back of the store without an exit scary. I would also like to say this is not an Amish store. It may be like a couple stores in Arthur, but it is definitely not Amish. The prices are a bit high, but expected. I do appreciate the deli and the fresh ground Peanut butter. They have some hard to find food items. The fresh baked offerings are pretty good. Edit the back dinning room without an exit has been walled off. I do still worry about the amount of people in the store and the parking on the rode. My star rating has...
