My husband and I are very disappointed in this glider. The quality is sub-par. The directions were terrible. You almost need a PhD to put this piece together, and believe me, there many, many pieces. The 1/2 inch quality of the wood construction used is cheap. The only quality of the entire glider are the metal bolts, screws, and glider arms. Also, my husband is a large person, and although a person from Cedar Ridge Furniture emailed me that the individual gliders were built to withstand up to 450 lbs, he did not feel safe when he sat in them. They really started to creak and crack. We will be surprised if this set lasts for a few years. The outdoor weather will take its toll. If it were possible, I would return this entire glider set to you are YOUR cost, but I'm sure this is not an option. You state on your website that these are Amish made. I believe this is an insult to the Amish. They make much better-quality items and take pride in the pieces they make. It is a shame that the public is...

We ordered a 5 foot outdoor cedar swing and the craftsman ship that went into the product was excellent. The hole alignment for Bolts were a little off, but not that difficult to put the swing together. After my purchase , I spoke to Lester for additional information on the type stain used. Since we like the swing so much, we were interested in a 4 foot glider and we ordered it over the phone in Which it was shipped the same day since they had this item in stock.
