Was literally just in there as I usually am on Friday afternoon and Saturday evening getting groceries. This is a routine and I've gotten to know most the cashiers. I would like to think pretty well. I'm terrible with names but I know the faces, cashier behind me was asking a stock. Boys/bag helper guy to help her bag the groceries He told her no playfully of course and she being the main cashier that I deal with pretty regularly when I'm in there because I'm in there usually later in the day. And being most of us that were in there at the time cuz it was fairly busy were just small talking and I had piped up when I had heard that cuz this is going on literally directly behind me literally inches behind me and so I said just charger a dollar and instead of the conversation continuing instead of him replying or saying anything he gave me this death glare. Like I said something horrible. Now I don't know this bag boy very well, but what I'm kind of surprised at is he would feel comfortable in a small town of Eureka Illinois to give a regular customer that spends as much as I spend on a weekend. A dirty look and I don't even know why I got the dirty look. Perhaps he didn't like it that I was piping into the conversation. I have no clue but what I'm shocked at is he would feel comfortable giving a person a dirty look like that specifically while on the job in front of all those people in such a small town store, I could easily go to Walmart or Sam's or any other blockchain store and spend about 50% of what I just spent. I spent nearly $300 just tonight. I could have spent half that at Walmart. Instead. I choose to support local stores hometown stores. I don't appreciate getting dirty looks, especially if I'm going to be spending almost twice the price to support local businesses when I could travel 15 minutes away to my local Walmart and spend...

I was just in there and bought a case of pop, took it home, opened it and as I pulled cans out to put in the refrigerator three cans were damaged or bulging.

Called the manager(Rodney) and he wants me to bring the whole case back in order for it to be taken care of, but I'm not ready or able to go back at this time and have lunch with drinks to serve. He says he can't open a case in order to set things right ... ??? It's not my fault you got in faulty product!

I worked in a big grocery store chain(Dominick's) for 10 years and know differently. We took very good care of our customers no matter the issue.

Don't be so lazy and disconnected! C'mon!! You can do better customer service relations Rodney!!

It may be fixed now, but Watch the meat dept. They used to not take a tare on packaging and when they went to mark it down to move it out adding additional plastic, you would also pay for the additional packaging weight. So against weights & measures law!!

Your employee’s like to take food out of the meat department like hamburger and cook it for their own personal use for at home for their supper, cook it there in the deli and not pay for it either!! Also you have employees in the deli that like to take food n not pay for it as well, also some of your employees like to leave an hour early of their shift n get away with it or have their kids come to the store while their working and walk around the store with their kids to buy stuff for them while they r supposed to be working in the deli!!!
