I was referred here by walmart to cash a check because thier check reader was not working. I walked in and went to the customer service counter I waited for a few moments before an older lady poked her head out and came to the counter, I told her i needed to cash this check, showed it to her even had the official pay stub with it. She the proceeded to look at me and say well I can't cash that it won't work its from frenso California (where my employer is literally located). And I asked her if she could give me a recommendation because I needed to get it cashed so I could get gas in my vehicle and she looked at me and in a very snarky rude tone said well the banks are still open. I just moved to the area I do not have a bank set up here yet the only bank account I currently have is a chime account which is all online and due to financial hardship situations is currently not available. She proceeded to stare at me for 30 to 45 seconds making me feel about the size of an ant then said well I can't help you and turned and walked away. Should teach your young cashiers more tact. Went thru Anna Js line this evening at approximately 7:30 getting a few things for my daughter and granddaughters. She gave me her ebt and debit cards along with her list. The entire time she was yelling at some Jess in the office about this and that. Well apparently she didn't hit a button right or something and the receipts didn't come thru properly. She asked for my receipt back as I was leaving and again yelled at this Jess about a receipt for the ebt and debit card not coming thru...and saying it only has on about such & such balance amount. Got my receipt back and let her know that she really knows how to embarrass a person and thanked her. She just shrugged her shoulders. My youngest daughter was with me and I could tell had I not been there she most likely would've asked the girl to step outside. Very rude! Great little grocery store that we've been to the last four years. The help is always friendly & they take the groceries out to your car for you. They have some of the best produce prices around! I've had a few instances where a produce item was not good (one summer was a super mealy watermelon, another year was moldy berries in the middle of the clamshell package) and they are great at doing an exchange-- just bring in the defective product & your receipt and they'll get you a new one. Tip-- keep a look out on their Facebook page for limited deals (they aren't advertised in the newspaper) for when they get a really great price on a batch of produce, or when they get a new...
