So, I just moved into a home with a 20,000 pool and reached out because the water was cloudy. Once they were serviced, the pool did not clear up; in fact, and it was worst with sand all at the bottom. It was an old filter purchased with the house, so I knew it would need to be replaced soon. This company seemed reliable at first, and I bought the new filter.
Let me start from the beginning; when Steve first installed the system, he told me the timer would come on, and the filter would be automatic. The next day the pool did not come on, so I reached out, and they came and said the pump had a wire loss. (with the old filter, we never had a problem with the pump.) So they claimed to repair the wire, and the filter should have worked moving forward. Guess what? The next day it didn't work again, an electrical problem. Yet everything on the outlet worked except the filter. But they could come out and fix it for another $250. They now claim if there was a problem with the pump, as they first said, or the electrical system. They would have mentioned it when they installed the filter. These people are a rip-off to people who don't know much about pools. So, if I were you, I wouldn't use them.
Now I have to pay a fee to my attorney to get my money back from these scam artists....
Read moreBeware of this company before doing business with them. They will take money upfront and then they will not do the work. Top of that they’ll cook up evidences to show that they have done the work when nobody is even in the premises. I had a contract to get 4 weeks of maintenance but after two weeks nobody turned up. I waited till the week ended and called and they told that I’m done with my contract. And though funny, they said that though it was a weekly maintenance they did two weeks at a time at the first week and top of that claimed that someone came the week before and did the work in my pool. Utterly false as I was at home throughout that day and I have a dog too who’ll not miss anyone coming inside the house. When I confronted them, they had no proper answers except some cooked up pictures from the previous week and then stopped responding till I said I would put review on them. Also threatened me of legal consequences. So, after reading this review, please think carefully before going ahead with this type of business. And who have existing business with this company, please be cautious with your transactions. I wish Google had the option to...
Read moreNew pool owners and we reached out to American swimming pool to help us with opening our pool. I informed them that we already took the tarp off, but since this is our first time utilizing this pool in maybe 15 years we don't know what we need to do and need help. Well they take payment upfront and didn't show the first day. I called and was told they would come the next day. Well the next day we were dealing with a water heater flood. But the guys came and seen that the tarp was off and said there was nothing for them to do. Because they don't clean or replace the lining and just left. I called to see what the next step would be, and was told a ticket would be created. Didn't hear anything from anyone went with another company. Now that it's time to close the pool I've called multiple times to try and get the $450 to open the pool pushed to the backend to close the pool since they never opened it. Every time I call they say the owner is not in and he'll call me back and still have not heard anything from them, but they took my money upfront. So now we wasted $450 very...
