Staff was NOT pleasant. Rates on their website do NOT match what they charge at the course. The staff seemed offended and bitter when we politely asked about the 21 and under rate that was explicitly shown on their website. Staff told us it was an UNDER 21 rate that they offer and proceed to charge our 21 year old in our group $30 for our Friday twilight 18 hole walking (despite website explicitly saying it's $24 for an adult Friday twilight walking 18). The 18 year olds in our group did receive the 21 and under rate but for $22, which website said $14. So inconsistent prices and not nice staff. And they did check our IDs for our age fyi, which we had no problem providing. The course was in good condition. Solid layout. Greens rolled smooth and fast. Rough was long and easy to lose golf...

Couldn't tell much about the course from the pics online, but wow. This course was absolutely amazing. Props to the greens keepers, course was in excellent condition. The undulation of this course was sweet, big hills, tilted fairways, tough but fair greens, big tree's. Only downside is that i don't live closer to it. The Excelsior Springs Golf Course is one of the most beautiful courses in the area. 18 holes, the course has a driving range and a full serve restaurant. Perfect for travelers visiting at The Elms or one of our bed and breakfasts.
