Flea Market — Local services in Excelsior Springs

The flea market in Excelsior Springs has an interesting variety of booths and items, and it can be fun to browse. However, many things were priced surprisingly high for their condition, which made the shopping experience less enjoyable.

What truly stood out, though, was a disappointing interaction when my 17-year-old daughter asked if they were hiring. An employee looked her up and down and responded, “Not you.” Regardless of whether they’re hiring or not, there are far more respectful and professional ways to speak to a young person trying to gain experience. It was unnecessarily harsh and left a negative impression.

I wanted to pay up front for 3 items and because of weather could not pick up for 5 days. They would not work with me. They really aren't people orientated!! It's all about getting the money in their hands!! Very sad for the way they treat people. What goes around...
