One of the easiest and most visited viewpoints in Sequoia National Park is Amphitheater Point. It is one of the many 180-degree turns at the Generals Hwy scenic byway.
There is a long turnout parking lot and a tiered viewpoint with concrete railings to sit on. You can enjoy a great view of the stunning Moro Rock, the lush green landscape, and the steep elevation change from the foothills to granite alpine peaks with the blue sky as the backdrop. Great photo ops.
