I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a wedding cake for our secret elopement in the Sequoias, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The cake itself was simple in design, perfectly complementing the natural beauty of our surroundings, but it was the taste that truly stood out—absolutely fantastic! Each bite was a delightful combination of flavors of lemon and blueberry. We transported the cake and seriously ate it for 3 days on our honeymoon.

What made the experience even more memorable was the incredible service provided by the owner. She's a sweet, young woman who went above and beyond to help me out with a last-minute issue, especially considering I was coordinating everything from the East Coast. Her dedication and kindness ensured our special day was stress-free and even more magical.

It was our first time ordering a cake from Shandell at Flour Petal Cakes and I am so happy we did! It was for our daughter’s 3rd birthday party and she absolutely killed it! The cake was made with so much detail and the the symmetry of the frosting and cake layers is well more deserving of of 5 stars for sure! She was able to make a special custom request for my daughter’s birthday and the designs were flawless we loved the passion and heart she put into making our daughters cake, you can tell she takes her time and really loves what she does! Communicating with her was easy and she is very friendly and has a genuine care for customers! The cake was super yummy and the frosting was delicious! All our guests absolutely loved it! I will definitely be hiring her in the future for more of our families cakes and events! I’ll also be buying her Christmas cookies...

I called dozens of bakeries looking for someone who could make a gluten- free wedding cake. Luckily, I found Shandell! She was lovely to work with throughout the whole process--consulting, cake tasting, modifications to our order, and delivery! Shandell is very helpful, friendly, and responsive. We got a three tier wedding cake with one layer of gluten-free vanilla cake with strawberries and buttercream and two layers of gluten-free red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting between the layers. The outside was covered in buttercream. She delivered the cake to our venue at the time she said she would and added flowers to it from our florist. It looked and tasted amazing!
