I have called three time trying to get a hold of the manager and I feel like I’m being played with. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely rude when me and my husband when we got there not too sure what was wrong with him. Did not acknowledge me or my husband at first asked rudely if we needed anything. When my husband told him that we had a reservation he gave us a very disgusting attitude and just toss us the forms that we were supposed to sign. I had called earlier that day asking for a bottom floor because of my back I had talked to him letting him know and was promised a bottom floor. I was informed there was nothing he could do when I got there. I also happened to see that when I went back to the office my room number was on a paper with the word Karen now I can take a joke here and there but I did feel he was being extremely rude and disrespectful towards me I definitely won’t waste my time going back not if I have to deal with that again. As for the manager please talk to him about his attitude towards people who are booking with you. As for everything else it was a lovely experience. Very clean rooms and the ladies were very friendly and...

The price was great the room was beautiful however I left $150 deposit and when I left the room was checked and cleared and I was told that the hold would be removed from my card the next business day it has yet been removed it still says pending and my bank says it's up to the hotel to remove it. The hotel is telling me that it's up to my bank they put a hold that quick they should be able to take the hold off that quick as well so that kind of makes it very disappointed it ruined the whole outcome. We treated the room with respect left all the towels sheets coffee pot hair dryer iron in fact we didn't even use the shampoos or the lotions and we didn't even dirty all the towels didn't use the extra pillows either left the room in good condition. When I called to speak with the worker and ask them to release the hold they give me attitude and tell me just wait a couple more hours well I've been waiting four days. Before I even rented the room I asked how long would the hold be on my card pending and they told me that it would be removed within 24 hours after I left the hotel so I proceeded with...

My husband and I went hiking at the Sequoias and had a reservation for this hotel. When we arrived at the hotel they told us that they tried to contact us earlier in the day and since we did not respond, they canceled our reservation. We notified them that we were hiking with no signal so we didn't have any service. They then told us that apparently, this happens all of the time but it is hotel policy that if they can not get in contact when the person who makes the reservation that they have to cancel the reservation. We were absolutely exhausted after our hike but had to spend over an hour trying to resolve the issue and the whole time we were stressing because there was only 1 room available, that at any time could be reserved by someone else. I feel like if the hotel needs to contact the person who makes a reservation, they should try to contact them maybe a day or 2 before the reservation, especially since they are so close to the Sequoias and know people will most likely not have service once they are out there. It turned a night that should have been relaxing into a very...

I am a fan of Best Westerns now. I have stayed in many motel and hotel rooms out here in the mainland and I am a fan of this hotel chain. The rooms were neat and clean with updated amenities. The beds were so comfortable and each bed had 4 thick pillows each(this is exemplary). The free amenities were also of high quality and the towels were comfortable and fluffy. The free breakfast was delicious and the variety was nice. They had waffles, sausage, eggs, cereals, muffins, and various beverages. All-in-all, it was a pleasant stay away from home.

Clean upgraded Best Western location. Breakfast is a great added feature. Basics like eggs, sausage, toast and juice- but also waffle maker, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, yogurt, granola and fresh fruit. The staff kept the area clean and the coffee refilled. The room was basic but looked updated and clean - recently remodeled (?) Or even new! Location was fine - we drove up to visit Sequoia and this was close enough to "town" Visalia yet close and easy to access the road up to Sequoia.

Room was updated recently, very clean, and spacious (not super large furniture which we prefer. Bed is firm for those that do not like firm, the dish channels were nice, and it is always nice to have a fitness room. This was a very inexpensive hotel and well worth it to go to kings canyon/sequoia. The breakfast is nice to have, but there wasn't a huge selection. A lot of places to eat within a 20 minute radius though!
