Birch Hill Recreation Area — Local services in Fairbanks

For summertime it's great for walking around on the trails. Late August I always do my high bush cranberry picking there. Early September after the first Frost. The low Bush cranberries are in. Such a family-friendly environment. You have a restrooms. It is handicapped accessible. And stuff on site during business hours to help with anything that you need. Absolutely love this place. The expanse and shear natural beauty make you feel like you're deep in the wilderness even though you're inside city limits.
