I am part of the class of 2019 here at kvcc. I graduated with an associates degree in liberal studies. After struggling at the university of new England in Biddeford I came to this school to try again at receiving a degree. Almost everybody you meet, including the students, are fantastic. Trio, a program here at kvcc, helped me get through and graduate college. It took me 6 years to get a degree, but I did it. You know, a school can have all the amenities in the world and still not be the right fit. Kvcc may lack in amenities however they helped me get through college and get the education I always hoped for. I took 2 to 3 classes a semester. It was hard and long, but I'm thankful for my professors and the staff here at kvcc who helped me succeed. And the crazy part was: I graduated while struggling with my mh issues. They knew I was trying to get diagnosed and get on the right meds, and they didn't hold that against me. Thank you so much, all of you, for helping me get the degree I worked hard for and deserved. KVCC offers a well organized curriculum that is designed to engage and educate both a novice or a professional. The trades programs give students a hands-on approach that reinforces the classroom knowledge. Being able to work in the field while in the program is definitely beneficial! This is made easier & incentiveised thanks to the fact that some of the labs can be signed off by a boss or supervisor holding a master's license.
