Very displeased with my experience here. Food was dry, tasteless, very skimped and sloppily thrown together, made me very ill, poor service, and overpriced.
When I received my sandwich, I feel like every guy who’s been catfished. I ordered the chicken and bacon ranch melt, wanted my bread toasted, this was not even offered, what was given was “What bread you want?”. The young man “helping” me, asked if he “had to heat it up” referring to the meat and bacon, I didn’t even ask the question it was one made. I mean, since it’s called a MELT I assumed that meant melted meaning heated........it was only warmed, and would prove to be very bad on my end considering I got really sick later that night. Not to mention the food was disgusting and could hardly pass for a sandwich. I was left unsure as to what to add into it, especially since they had put all the food away. He literally had to wheel the carts with the extras on it back over. And since I A) haven’t been to a Subway since the summer of 2012 and B) lack Superman’s X-ray vision, this made the process awkward. He didn’t tell me what toppings there were or make any suggestions beyond “the foods ok”. Felt like a game of Deal or No Deal.
The man was so anxious to get home it reflected in the form of anger and annoyance. I mean, hey, I get it: I showed up 35/40min prior to closing, it was late, he was tired, but I was tired too. I didn’t want to be there very much either (clearly, since I’ve been avoiding this establishment for the past 7yrs). I wanted to be sound asleep too but I had a really long drive ahead of me, this place was open till 11:30 so it worked. Very uncool behavior. If you’re someone who can’t handle night shifts and/or doesn’t want to work for a place that requires they lock up, don’t even apply. I walked in expecting everything to be in order up till that closing time— like most normal places, especially with 40min to spare, and the gas station attendants admitting that closing is 11:30 but they are there for an additional hour as mandatory for closing up shop. In which case, why are they closing up during hours of operation.
This is bad business. I should have just pushed through till the next day, and with the gosh awful stomach ache I have since eating that excuse of a sandwich, seems like starving would have been a much better option.
Will I return? Absolutely not. 7yrs was not...
Read moreThe employee who helped me was amazing. Her coworker, however, was racist towards a Hispanic customer in the store. For some background: I placed an order through the app at roughly 8:30 as well as this other customer. When I came in i found out that their online orders were down and the order was both cancelled and not received despite the money being taken out of my account. No problem there. I showed the wonderful woman who serviced me my order and proof of payment and she made my sandwiches no problem. The man behind me had also placed an online order. Another employee came in from the circle k and went to the register to help the other customer. I got the displeasure of witnessing him talk down to this customer as if he was stupid. He showed the worker his order just as I had. The employee (tall, lanky, with greasy dark hair) started emphasizing his words and raising his voice like the customer was stupid. He kept saying “You need to show me the order!” And being really rude to the customer. He seemingly gave up on the customer and stormed away telling his coworker to help the guy instead. The woman who helped me ended up helping him instead. Terrible customer service on this guys part. Glad the other customer ended up getting help. This was around 8:30...
Read moreOrdered through the app. We live in another town. Travelers save your money. They are giving you shaved vegetables, as in paper thin . In a Foot Long Sub, you will get 6 leaves of small spinach, approximately 12-16 piece's of shredded lettuce, 4 shaved tiny tomato pieces, 4 shaved cucumbers, 6 shaved green peppers about 1" long if you can find a few onions you are lucky. The mayonnaise was so overwhelming it hides all that's under it.
When you want shaved meat, you go to the deli. This was a basic Veggie Sub. My husband's Chicken Teriyaki Sub was in the same condition. Yes it was paid through the app and a nice tip included. Contacted Subway immediately & was ignored. Contacted through email was also ignored. Subway Corporation said nothing either.
So in today's market spending money and actually getting something for it is important. A lot of families & older people are venturing out via road trips, so money and value is a huge factor. Avoid This Subway Off The Exit In...
