Fairmont Flea Market — Local services in Fairmont City

Tried to find a cheap mower. Nope. $125 Got ripped off!! Family of people sitting directly in the middle (i see them in that exact spot most the time, I work close to there) not going to name a ethnicity. Bunch of power tool and "troy built and hondas" only as they said. Bought a WAY over priced mower today, got half my yard done and it blew up. It had already been missing carb springs that I took off my other mower to get it to stay running while warm. It got half of just my front yard mowed and lost all compression. Blowing bubbles out of the oil fill tube! Do not buy from these people! Centrally located with power tools, lawn and mowers. They seemed annoyed at me for not giving them the 150 they...

Got there about 2pm, so I expected some vendors to close shop... everyone was packing up, and because they don't have a designated set up area if you don't have an indoor locker... parking is impossible to identify, it looks like you could park anywhere including near in ramps.

It does get one star for the soccer jersey store... too bad I was already frustrated with all the rest of the limited selections, and no ATM on premises (gas station across the street I guess).

Needs better organization. And dealers that stay longer (don't know if there would have been a better variety earlier...

It's a kind of random hodge podge flea market. Anybody can go set up a stand or table and sell stuff. They have their regular vendors every week but also a few new ones weekly as well so you never know what you may see or find. They have a mexican food truck and sometimes a ice cream cart. I like the randomness of it. The bad part is, it is completely disorganized and many buyers just drive around instead of parking and walking so you have to constantly watch out for cars.
