Kitchen Saver — Local services in Fairview Township

My wife wanted to upgrade our kitchen but didn't want to have it torn up for weeks. I called Kitchen Saver and they refaced our cabinets in less than four days. Rudy, the sales rep, was very personable. He arrived at the scheduled time, explained the process and provided material samples from which my wife was able to find one that she liked. Rudy went over the terms of the contract and provided an estimated start date. Kitchen Saver was able to start earlier than anticipated. When the time came for the installation, Scott and Colin arrived at the appointed time and were on time each day of the installation. They explained what they were going to do and started right in. They refaced the existing cabinet structure but installed new cabinet doors and drawers. They are the slow close type so now they close easily and quietly. They were very friendly, polite and respectful of our property. They cleaned up the work site every day before leaving. It was very evident that they took great pride in their work. At the completion of the work, Scott explained the warranty and how to care for and maintain the cabinets. The cabinets turned out beautifully. The kitchen is much brighter now that with the previous cabinets which had a dark brown finish. My wife is very happy with the look and function of the cabinets. End product is nice and the kitchen looks great. However the process was excruciating. We have a small kitchen and the installer was here 5 days working until 9:30 pm on Thursday and after 10 pm on Friday. We were exhausted since we were confined to our living room. There was no plastic put up to keep the dust in the kitchen as the salesman had promised. My new Bosch dishwasher got scratched on the panel. They did make good - replacing that at a later date. At that visit they saw something that was done wrong preventing the dishwasher from being removed if we ever needed service. At installation I wanted a cabinet door to open 1 way and the installer thought the other. He won but when the 2nd team came for the dishwasher they understood and ordered me a new door. That necessitated a 3rd visit and for the 2 above noted issues he was here about 4 hours after arriving 1 hour late. The salesman will promise you the moon and then you won't hear...

I now I have my new kitchen cabinets installed from Kitchen Saver and what an amazing difference.! Although it took two months from signing on to finished installation was two months it was worth the wait! Actual installation only took three days. My sales rep was there for me with any questions or concerns I had in the meantime while waiting. Everything was installed as promised, and the professionalism of the installers was impressive.
