Plaza del Mercado de Fajardo — Local services in Fajardo

As of December 2021, the location on Google maps is still inaccessible due to renovations. The temporary location is 2 blocks away in a parking lot next to the park. Ask the locals how to get there. I found 2 fresh fruit stands and one cooked food stand. Most of the vendors speak English and all are very nice. Fresh Filipino coconuts were $2.50, big avocados were $3, and papaya were $2.75. Brand new "placita". A new space with about 14 different vendors. A traditional plaza del mercado has many produce vendors, there was only two here, but they carry a lot of fresh local fruits, veggies, eggs, honey, maví and much more. This plaza has a bar inside, with karaoke on thursdays and salsa music on Fridays. And it has a/c which is a bonus. It is a great spot to hangout with the locals.
