I have had some of the worst experiences here. Idk why Google wants me to do a review... It's a Marine Corps base and if the Marines are not operating this gym, MCCS glorified employees are.

The reason I'm salty is the mandate came out again this year in 2021 to mask up again. So I called ahead to confirm my mask would be sufficient. I have a High altitude training mask and was able to always wear that. I was told to wear a face shield or some clothe instead or leave the gym. I have some conditions that make wearing a mask difficult - especially when working out.

Regardless, I digress - I was confused why would their sign state "facial coverings" but not specify parameters like: "no filter masks"? Why answer my phone call and confirm over the phone my mask is acceptable and then wait for me to be in the middle of a workout to call me out in the middle of the gym around everyone and their brother? Why tell me to switch to cloth that I can blow a match/lighter out but not with my current facial mask? Another question: why didn't the man mention the outdoor HIIT Center? I left the gym to find out later there is an outdoor gym... Has everything I need - so no worries I spent my time out there the rest of the year.

My time outside has been hit or miss... I found out that not too far down the road is a smaller gym. It has less traffic and more equipment outside. So by choice I no longer choose to frequent Paige Field House... Unless I need to do some recording on the track for my...

I’ve been working out here for about a year and today I was told to leave for wearing a tank top as my shoulder blades were too “exposed”…So I left and went to get another shirt on and come back. I spoke to the manager and I could tell that he was running me through his normal response to this issue and obviously nothing is going to change. Meanwhile, I continue my workout and see two more people wearing headgear and one wearing a tank just like the one I was wearing and no one had said anything to them. There were many females wearing highly inappropriate wedgie leggings and tops without bras….and you guessed it, the staff didn’t say anything to them and during all of my time at this gym I’ve never seen the staff say anything to anyone. This unequal enforcement of policy is shameful. You kicked out a veteran for a tank top and let all of the actual inappropriate attire slide. I’m disappointed in this facility and its management. Change the rules or enforce them equally. Note: I’m a bodybuilder, and the specific purpose of my tank tops is to monitor symmetry...

I can’t rate the gym all that well here. I wish I had the opportunity to do so. I have to workout at home. However, it look fully stocked with everything you need, and the restrooms seem clean. The layout is maybe a bit quirky, but every gym is different. We use this facility mostly for their track and for the sports field. Both are great and are taken care of nicely! It awesome to have an open track for families, and the field is beautiful and a great turf space for our kids to play sports. They keep it clean and in good condition. Definitely a nice place to be. There is also a huge grass field in the back, and an area for tire flipping, and an awesome HIIT...
