I’m 100% all for supporting our local businesses, but every time I’ve gone to this store the shop owner comes off as incredibly rude and irritable. Most recently, she was slamming things around, bit my head off when I asked a question, and was being very disrespectful to the other staff. It was obvious from the moment I walked in the store that she was in a mood and her colleague was tip-toeing around her. Then after all her gruffness she shoved the bag with my purchase in my face and tried to pull off a phony “thank you so much for your business!”
Maybe she was just having a bad day, which happens to us all, but this is not the first time I’ve felt taken back by this person’s attitude. Has anyone else had a similar experience?
