I did not have a good time at the Far Hills Race Meeting when I attended. While the event itself seemed fun and well organized by the staff, there were excessive amount of partying at the tailgate. But that itself isn’t the issue. There were drunk frat boys who were not being nice to others’ in attendance and in one such case, I was yelled at by one of them by supposedly taking photos of girls (simply because I was holding my phone). I offered to show my camera roll to prove I wasn’t but I was told by that guy that others’ were complaining and I was told I was not welcome. Reflects nothing of what the event actually is and the dedication and hard work put in by the caretakers of the horses, event planners, etc. Whoever is in charge of this lawless wasteland of an event does practically nothing about issues that occur, including drunk drivers.
