Met friend for lunch at the bar and couple of afternoon pops. The bartender was very good, personable and could assist with gluten-free items. They are marked on the menu but failed to bring readers. Pretty good gluten-free menu. Selected mushroom bacon cheeseburger with mashed potatoes. Gluten-free bun of course and always a treat to eat a hamburger at a restaurant. The fries are cooked in the same oil as breaded products so an issue for me. Friend selected salmon tacos and stated they were very good.
If wine selections by the glass are limited, I will normally choose a malbec. I have had many at various locations by the glass and all similar. Nothing special but a safe choice until I selected the malbec at DH. Unfndrinkable, ordered a cabernet which is what we refer to as not offensive, so take the description as you will. After a couple of pours of cabernet I tasted the malbec and still not worth drinking.
All in all, it worked out well, except for the malbec but learned there are some malbecs that should be left on the shelf for decoration.

Read moreMaybe this place is fine the other 364 days of the year, but do not come here for Mother’s Day or any other special occasion if you’re expecting anything besides a cold, dark sports bar with slow service. We made a reservation here for their Mother’s Day brunch, only to find all it meant was a few additional items on the menu (including a hash brown burger for some reason? Because that’s what moms want?), with the slowest service imaginable, and golf playing on every TV in the restaurant (again, perfect for moms...). Every curtain in the restaurant was closed and absolutely nothing was done to make it look or feel like it was for mothers. Really disappointed that we spent money on this to try and do something special for the person in our family who is always making everyone else’s days special. We won’t make this...
Read moreI eat dinner here every Wednesday with my trivia team, and although there are several other locations for trivia in the area, our team LOVES Delicious Heights in Bedminster because the food and service is fantastic. Some of us drive over an hour during evening commute times to get here, but it is so worth it. Love the regular menu, but don't sleep on the weekly specials sheet, especially for the featured soup and special salads. We have a great server, Lindsay, who takes good care of us every week, and we always look forward to seeing her. The presentation is also fabulous, and the portions are ample. The bar area is lively and has many big screen TVs for sports viewing. Great selection of brews...
