We went to to the fair and we had a good time! But what we thought was going to be an all day event after a couple hours we came home! I was under the impression that there would be all kinds of games, food, entertainment and crafts and wares! There were tents set up on one side of the field selling merchandise and the stage for the dancing mermaids and a entertainer! One the opposite side of the field was food and drinking vendors! They sold hotdogs and lemonade! Where was the turkey legs? Under the pavilion we’re singers and food vendors sold pizza beer and soda! At the very end of the field was where they did the jousting, you could ride a unicorn or shoot a bow and arrow! My biggest complaint was that they could’ve mowed the field! It was tall grass and very hard walk in! No chair’s to sit relax and enjoy watching the jousting! No one wants to sit in a hay field! I’m hoping this year will be better and it will get bigger and better each year! So please mow the field! How about a axe throwing contest, sword fights, a King and Queen, with royal family, wizard, sorceress, dragon slayer, ext.. Hope to see...
Read moreI understand this is their first, so my review will be as objective as possible. My family and I attended the faire on Saturday, June 5th. First, the entry fee was too high for the small number of activites and entertainment. For example, a family of four ( 2 adults, 1 teenager, 1 child) pays, with no discounts, approximately $52.00. Once in, we found out that around a third of the vendors left after the Memorial weekend; however, the entry fee was not reduced. For entertainment, there was jousting, a story teller, and singers. The scheduled jousting show was done well. The actors were entertaining and encouraged audience participation. The singers were a joy to listen to and engaged their audience during most of the songs. In the end, we were able to see the entire faire in under an hour. Overall, I was disappointed with how much we had to pay to enter, just to spend money on food, drinks, and trinkets. I would equate the whole experience to paying a cover charge at the mall, just to...
Read moreAs the owner of this festival I appreciate the reviews. The turkey leg vendor, two other food vendors, children's activity and entertainment troops and 2/3 of the volunteers backed out for fear of, or infections with Covid. There were 4 of us that put the event on. It was, a nightmare. We considered lowering the ticket price, but with the cost of the jousters at 10 grand, and the cost of the entertainers including their travel expenses and hotels, we were already committed to nearly 20 grand. Then add in the cost of the venue and the last minute food vendors pulling out, we had to invest in food to sell and it had to be easy to prepare. I'm sorry you folks didn't have a good...
