TLDR;
Donât get chicks from this store until they properly separate the chicks in the brooders AND train their staff on identifying the chicks. You could want a $13 dollar breed and pay $13, but end up getting a $5 breed.
Story time: We went to buy chicken and one of the employee that helped us really doesnât know the difference between the chickens nor whether they were sexed or straight run. Each box can have multiple breeds of chicken and they have high price and low price in the same brooder. Not to mention the employee that we witnessed - mixed chickens from one brood box into another brood box. And so the name of the breed on the brood box doesnât matter because he mixed them all. I picked two Prairie Bluebell and I wanted two French Cuckoo. So he went to French Cuckoo box (they have French Cuckoo, New Hampshire, Black Australorp and Lavender Orpington IN THE SAME BOX) and just picked 2 chicken RANDOMLY. Remember the prices are ranged from $3ish to $12ish. I didnât know that while he was up there trying to get my French Cuckoo, he put down one of my Prairie Bluebell inside that French Cuckoo box. So now I had 3 French Cuckoo and 1 Prairie Bluebell. Once heâs done picking up the French I looked inside and I asked him, âwhere is my Prairie Bluebell?â. And then he later blamed me and said that this is what I asked him to pick. I said âNo. mine was Whiteish and Grayish. Why the white became Yellow?â The box was up there and I couldnât see what he was doing. Turned out, my husband said he took my white one and put the Yellow theređ Idk why he did thatđ Later I asked him if he knows which one is French Cuckoo? He said no. So my question is, why you mixed like 4 breeds in one box if the employee cant tell the difference?? Not to mention they have different price range. And last, He just doesnât seems understand what weâre talking about and at the end he has this attitude when he said to one of his coworker âSorry it took me longer than it shouldâ or something like that. Like dude. The task was simple, pick us the breed that we wanted and donât put Prairie inside French Cuckoo boxđLike he even tried to take the New Hampshire tag ($13ish) and put it in my chicken box. Thatâs when I knew he didnât know what he was doing. Until I stopped him and said âHey! Thatâs the wrong label! I want French Cuckoo chicken.â Itâs just not a pleasant experience from the beginning till the...
   Read moreI want to report an unacceptable experience my family and I had with an employee named Connie. From the moment we interacted with her, she was unnecessarily rude and dismissive. When we politely asked for help finding a product, she told us to move because she was helping a customerâdespite that customer already being assisted by someone else.
Trying not to make a scene, we moved on and grabbed the items we came for, including some fishing supplies that were clearly marked on sale (2 for $8). At checkout, Connie rang them up at full price. When we asked about the discrepancy, she snapped at us saying, "You're gonna need to go back and take a picture. I can't page anybody to check." This seemed completely unnecessary since another employee was able to confirm the price via the intercom shortly after.
What really crossed the line was her attitude. When we called her out for being unprofessional, she played victim and even tried to shoo us out of the store. She made it seem like we were the problemâwhen in fact, we were only reacting to how she treated us.
She also mentioned being short-staffed, but thatâs no excuse for treating customers poorly. To be completely honest, I couldnât help but feel we were being treated differently due to our race. It was deeply uncomfortable and disheartening.
Thankfully, another employee (whose name I didnât catch) did apologize for her behavior, which we appreciated. But this kind of treatment is unacceptable and needs to...
   Read moreNEVER SHOPPING AT THIS LOCATION AGAIN!!!!! Went to this store location with my father on 4/7/23 between 2:00 and 4:00. We walked in to the store then stopped to look at some furniture. and when we walked in thru the detector it went off on my father. We stood there confused for a sec and not even 5 seconds after, the old lady and a young lady at the registers started hounding him, demanding he approach the counter and demand an answer if he had bought a wallet there which he replied no. They then asked if he even had a wallet which he then answered yes and as soon as he said yes, they demanded to see the wallet and ripped it out of his hands to then go through it, swiping it on the machine on which did nothing. After that they demanded his hat and ripped it from his hands, pulling it apart to find that the hat he had purchased FROM AN AUTOZONE had a stick on tag that set off the alarm. They removed the tag, threw the hat back at him and then proceeded to then ask a fellow worker of the store if my father should receive a pat down or " be frisked". The only person that came to our aid was another worker that told them multiple times that we had just barely walked in. After that ordeal, we walked around the store still numb from the verbal abuse we just received. We also noticed that it seemed that workers were then following us around and watching us until we...
