Evan Tate I am VERY grateful for you and your remarkable, almost magical, horsemanship skills. I can not believe that of ALL the places in DFW area i could have ended up at...i ended up at Tate Farms. š
Above, in this post, you just read a text I just sent to Evan. Obviously one can see there are mixed reviews of this boarding facility and after 8 months there I'm pretty sure I know why.
It all comes down to you.
I relocated from San Diego with 2 horses. It was a very very rough transition for all 3 of us. And had I not been ready to accept the REALITY of my relationship WITH and the behavior OF ME and my horses... I might have had harsh things to say about this place too.
If you are not open to major personal growth this may not be the best ranch for you.
This ranch calls people to a greater awareness of their horses as well as themselves... in subtle AND not so subtle ways.
How you respond to that calling will determine your experience.
Bottom line is that YOU ultimately are responsible for *you *your horsemanship skills *and your horse in every way as long as that horse is alive.
When you are ready for that revelation, then you find the 5 star gold that is offered here.
Thank you every day...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been at Tate Farms for over 2 years now and cannot imagine being anywhere else. Several of my friends joined me there about the same time and we call it our happy place. We have also developed many new friendships and together we enjoy our frequent trail rides, lessons, etc. There are so many amenities there ; obstacle course , 2 large arenas , round pens , event barn, etc, not to mention the hundreds of acres to ride through and many miles of country roads to ride down. Evan Tate is passionate about good horsemanship and has a heart for teaching it. Through his help my horse and I have learned so much and have become a much better team. He is always up for a private lesson, weekly group lessons , cow clinics, cattle round ups, help with whatever is needed. Tate farms feels authentic, simple , peaceful, with people that have a common desire to enjoy their horse, to ride, to learn, to grow , to have fun and just enjoy the open country away for the city chaos. As for me and my horse...Tate Farms is the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy wife has boarded here for several years before I got my horse and Evan always treated me with a friendly attitude, and I always thought the stable was professionally run with good places to ride. When I decided to finally get a horse Evan gave me private lessons on several different horses so I would feel confident riding different horses. He helped me pick a horse and let me ride him free for over a month to make sure we were a good match. He also advised me to use a different Vet then his for my well horse check. During my riding lessons Evan was friendly but firm because he cares for the horses welfare as well as the rider. If I have a question he will do his best to explain it in a way a newbie will understand. Since purchasing my horse if I am riding and Evan is around he will stop what he is doing if he sees me doing something wrong and give me a free mini lesson. I am glad we...
