Kroger — Local services in Findlay

This is the best Kroger I've ever shopped at. I've visited at least 8 times since we moved to the area. They are so friendly and helpful. The pharmacy is also wonderful. Ming is the BEST pharmacist - always sincere, friendly, and going beyond the call of duty. The only 2 complaints I have is that a lot of the food they sell is expired, and some of their baggers need retrained! I check expiration dates on everything and have unfortunately, run into several items in several departments that are waaay past their expiration dates. The taco shells and specialty deli cheeses (mozzarella pearls...) are always expired. Not a deal breaker, though- the redeeming qualities of this store make me keep coming back (I just remember to be diligent about checking the expiration dates). Also, the baggers are friendly, but some of them need retrained. If you are not watching them closely, they'll bag raw meats with other types of foods that should be bagged separately (like raw produce). They won't bag your bottled soda, unless you ask. This isn't convenient when you're trying to carry a ton of groceries into the house. But again, there are so many redeeming qualities to this company- and this particular store- that I keep coming back. I tried Meijer and Wal-Mart when we first moved here, but Kroger beats them hands-down, even in pricing. The prices here are phenomenal. I just cannot say enough good things about this Kroger. The Tiffin Ave Kroger is fine too, but the 6th St. Kroger is...

Its a typical Kroger so it's a good store. The staff has always been friendly from my experience. I would give it a 3 star rating though just because I always feel so claustrophobic when i come here. The parking lot is usually a tight, crazy, mosh pit. Definitely what i hate about going here. The store itself seems small too. Aisles just seem smaller and tighter than other Kroger stores. I raised it from 3 stars because I come here a lot solely because i like their liquor store selection.

The other Findlay Kroger is SO much better than this one where lately I get a bunch of bad attitude from the dark curly hair girl working the self-checkout area and several times, their registers didn't process the digital coupon discount...hmm, I wonder if it's on purpose? The guy working in the bakery is pretty nice and very friendly though. But don't even bother with this location when the other one is much friendlier and their registers always subtract the digital coupons...
