PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE !
No two people are on the same page , everything requires so much extra work compared to other auctions .THEY RUINED WHAT FAA WAS ! :( however, the biggest issue is the people/staff ! Just wow , The whole vibe is off / very unhappy rude people ! U can feel the negativity the second you walk in.
Im a 20yr car veteran here , business owner , I don’t leave bad reviews. But my experience here is mindblowing . I’m Just a car guy trying to buy cars 🤦🏻‍♂️. I literally started out working at auctions . It’s actually heart breaking to see what “flint auto auction “ turned into . I know almost every person and face in the industry and the talk of the lanes isn’t positive for this location . Most auctions look to establish/build great relationships . Someone needs to tell Adessa flint “The dealer is your the valuable asset!”.
Speaking on my personal experience with this flint location . I have been nothing short of harassed and treated unfairly. I’ve even been physically threatened! Called every name , told to “beat it” “hit the door” “don’t come back “ managers tell me “why would you come here “ . been threatened to a serious degree / fear of bodily harm ! My son (19) has been accused of stealing ! We have done nothing but respond accordingly to such treatment ! I’ve been subject to bias actions / treated unfairly on the business side as well . Account shut down fraudulently etc etc etc !! At this point the level of harassment has brought me to contact corp & I will be speaking with an attorney. Yes it’s that bad !
20 yrs in the game & These issues exist no where else ! In fact at ALL others auctions , its complete opposite! first name basis ! Your badge is waiting for you with a smile ! Great conversation / All smiles and good times as it should be ! Down to the drivers ! & Issues are handled professionally if they do occur.
auctions should be a fun place , you spend tons of money and want AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY! to be treated fairly and ...
Read moreOur experience with ADESA Flint was positive given the challenges of car repossession and auction. Sam/Samantha provided helpful service, and the process, while costly and stressful, was handled efficiently.
Ally Bank Repo Process: • A tow company repossesses your car, removes personal items, makes a new key if needed, and moves the vehicle to auction after 1-2 weeks—each step comes with fees. • You can recover your car by paying off the balance before the auction sale, but you’ll owe additional costs if the car sells for less than what you owe. Steps to Retrieve Your Car: • Contact Ally (or your lender) immediately to locate your car, confirm the total owed, and learn how to collect your belongings. • Schedule a pickup for your items and license plate; bring your keys to avoid damage charges. • Confirm payment amount and location with Ally, and pay at least 3 business days before your deadline (MoneyGram, Western Union, or bank wire). • After payment, provide confirmation to Ally so they can issue a Letter of Release. • Check with the auction house (e.g., ADESA Flint) that they’ve received the release, then schedule a pickup for your car. • Bring ID, proof of insurance, and your car key when retrieving the vehicle—expect possible damage due to the repo process and sign a waiver releasing the auction from responsibility.
Tips: • The process is lengthy, expensive, and may cause stress. • Be courteous and patient with all parties involved. • Start early as timelines are tight. • Always have your ID, finance account number, VIN, and...
