I just moved to Jersey and have been looking for a wonderful new nail salon to regularly go to. I also happen to have a wedding to go to as to why i wanted acrylics very nicely done. I made my appointment a week advance explaining the planned event and was told I would be with ‘Sky’ i arrived on time and was asked “is it okay if just anyone does your nails” i informed the gal i was told i would be with Sky and she told me someone different would be servicing me. That was the first inconvenience on my end since i was still waiting close to 30 minutes after my appointment time. Then I sat with Tina and I explained to her im new to Jersey and looking for a new nail tech and again brought up the wedding I asked her to clean up my nail beds and she said $5 extra for cuticles cut i said thats fine but she ignored my request and only pushed them back. Second inconvenience. Then once she applied the tips and acrylics she started to shape then middle of her working with me I guess she decided to switch with Sky who originally was supposed to do my set. 3rd inconvenience and i thought it was weird to have just switched nail techs mid service. At this point i was just over it and ready to go never to return. My nail shapes are uneven and poorly polished, they are missing polish on the sides of the nails. Im a very detailed orientated person i noticed everything, so to me its very displeasing. My set was a simple coffin shape V-french tip. Sky himself said “cant go wrong with french tip” which i agreed and told him its also very toned down compared to what I normally get done for my nails. But seeing that they acted this was too much for them i will not be returning to get anything extra done to my nails since this simple shape and design was too much for them. I paid whatever price they gave me 55 and tipped 10 because i tip regardless. But im writing this review in hopes they will see and respond as well for other future guests. I was very disappointed with the service i got after stating im new and also having a very important event to attend to. I did my part, making appointment a week advance, showing them a picture of a simple shape and design only to feel as if im inconveniencing them...

I started going to them over 5 years ago. Me, my husband and our daughter 3 weeks ago they charged our 10 year old $34! Just to polish her nails and toenails. I dropped her off as usual because we live around the corner from the spa. Upon picking her up I paid for her services. When we got in the car, I asked how was your Mani/ Pedi? She said, well they didn't give me one- technically just polished my toenails and fingernails. I went right back in there and asked why it was sooo much to polish, as I had her fingernails polished there before for $7, but that's not the service I requested for her. I asked for her a Mani/ Pedi that day and for me a Mani/ Pedi for the next day, as usual. No Gel - No Acrylic, as usual for the both of us. The woman was rude and very argumentative, as I had never seen her before, but she was the one who made both appointments. I told them that my appointment was the next day and I always get the exact same services and I bet they would not CHEAT me like they did a child! I went the next morning and got the same services that I've always received. The woman begin arguing at me in front of 3 other customers and 3- 4 nail Techs. Yhen the new girl who screwed up my daughters appointment by puttingdown the wrong services, jumped in and begin going back and forth with me. I told them that I felt attacked at 9am while getting a Mani/ Pedi. It was so ridiculous The guy there said something in their Narive language and they stopped. Before then the one lady tells me that I've had complaints before, but guess what? I've never had complaints before as I only go 2- 3x a year. So then I was offended that all Black people look alike. I paid them and left. I went back to T & G Nails in Bordentown. They charged my 10 year old $55 for a full mani/ pedi. I took her last Saturday and her nails are not even peeling. When I took her to LeFemme her nails always peeled within 2 days. Moral of the story don't cheat people. We are all working hard out here!! I know everything ihas gone up, but that was purely taking advantage...

The workers and the owner are so rude, racist, and only after money. I had acrylic gel manicure previously done at this place that PEALED off and came in to have my set refreshed. I understand that nails cannot be the same for a long period of time and I had already planned my next few appointments due to special events. I had to cut my nails due to work as they grew and was excited to have a new set of acrylics.

I greeted the owner with happiness and explained to him it is my birthday and I’m looking forward to my nails. I was in shock by the attitude of the owner with how much frustration he showed me while fixing my nails after he kept messing up himself repeatedly. He kept showing anger because I had to cut my precious acrylics due to work because he had to do MORE work to file them. Due to the uncomfortable situation, I saved his time and mind and decided against the gel and he ended up overcharging me for gel, acrylic, and refilling. A simple manicure was nearly $60. When I went to dispute the cost, he sneakily LEFT the building.

And that simple manicure was the most uncomfortable experience. He was rough with his work and repeatedly showed me his frustration. He barely treated me as a human let alone customer.

I have come here twice and both times I had bad experiences because of how rude the workers are and their money mindset attitude and lack of attention to detail and care. Do not trust them. Double check everything.

By the end of it I just wanted to leave the place knowing I will never come back ever again. I do not recommend this place to anyone. There are much better places with kinder people around the central jersey area.
