My wife and I went to dinner tonight to celebrate the anniversary of our first date 13 years ago. With graduations tonight, most of our favorite places were packed, even on the week night. We wandered into Asian House on Rte 130 in Bordentown. The place is a gem. It's very unassuming from the outside. Very cozy interior, with a small sushi bar. It's truly Asian fusion, as they have Chinese, Thai, and hibachi/sushi on the menu. We opted for some sushi to start, a sweet potato roll (served warm, the waynit ahould be) and a mango tuna roll. My wife ordered shrimp & steak hibachi, cooked perfect, served with both the ginger and yum yum sauce on the side. I had the General Tso chicken. The chicken was served crispy (as opposed to the mushy tenders served at so many places). Overall, a great meal from a family owned business. For anyone who's been to Wild Ginger in Sicklerville, this is similar, though we liked Asian House more. We'll definitely be returning to try other menu items soon.

Generals chicken, terrible. I feel so bad that I spent 16$ on this and am throwing it in the trash. I came in around 5 30 tonight and ordered generals chicken and white rice, it seems like this was left over food from the previous day or something, shucked did not taste fresh at all, the rice was not cooked properly. It’s safe to say I will not be taking another chance, one and done. The place I usually go is in Bordentown, I will stick with what works. Customer service was amazing, service was unbelievably fast here but the food was not good quality at all.

My favorite local Asian / sushi place can’t believe I’ve lived here for years and didn’t even know this place was around. I used to really like Jade’s Island, but this beats anything I’ve had from there. I especially love the General Tso’s it’s always a classic and while it does not have sesame seeds on top the chicken is so fresh and the sauce is so flavorful. Friend liked their pork dumplings. Also love the miso soup, can never go wrong there, and the Romantic Roll was another good pick :-) I plan on coming back soon and will try more sushi

So I would have given them a 5 star rating after the first time I ate take out from here. I got the "House" lo mein and it was meaty and delicious.... HOWEVER, they were totally rude and of course rushed me out so fast at 8pm... But otherwise good stuff... Along with the other two meals we ordered my friends liked as well. thennnnnnnn the second order on a Friday happened this past weekend and boy was o surprised after taking my first bite. Ummm 🧐 so I think they forgot to add the "flavor" and m. S. G I so much looked forward too lol... It tasted like just plain Chinese noodles and unflavored meats .. which was super crappy in amounts this time too. Aside from the food the way the lady was again was such a disappointment and I mean she literally rushed me to the point of walking me out the door at only 8PM ON A FRIDAY.... THATS kinda early don't you think ??? 🤦🏻‍♀️ Her whole family walked me out the door actually and locked up as soon as I stepped out. It was a very uncomfortable feeling and made me uneasy because I didn't even have time to check and see if all my order was in the small bag. (I ordered 3x meals so it was kinda small for that. And also for combo meals I think $13 each is kinda pricey especially when we can eat it ALL in pne sitting. That's not much food. Id like to call and complain about my food order Friday still but guess it's too late. But this i think may do it for hopefully...

Just found the Asian House coincidentally! While turning around missing our road, we discovered Asia House in the little shopping plaza. What a VERY NICE DISCOVERY!! We found a a combined menu with Thai, Japanese & Chinese dishes to choose from....this was a pleasant surprise to us as we only live 5 minutes away... if your a fan of Thai, Chinese, Japanese combo platters, stop in their location. Very upscale prepared Choices.Tasteful cuisine, a nice selection of sushi, in a local take out restaurant...we had a couple guest over, and the take our order that was plenty for 5 people was aprox. 11 dollars a person and left overs as well..A wonderful find! Give it a try..Again a pleasant surprise, enjoy a change! A extra large menu, for many taste to...
