My wife and I own over 250 CD's. We have had CD players in every car since invented ... until we bought a new 2018 Cadillac XT5. It was not until I left the dealership in Owensboro, Kentucky armed with a 12 hours audio book on CD for my return trip to Birmingham that I discovered " those are a thing of the past and are not even offered as a factory add on" After grumbling about it for four years and paying Sirius for songs she did not like or want to hear, I finally woke up to having a sound shop install her an aftermarket CD player, but I HATE those add ons with a little wired remote and knew she would too. But since our 21st anniversary was coming up Friday, I stabbed in the dark on Monday and struck SOLID GOLD !! I got Shawn, parts manager at Paul's Sound in Foley. We discussed my dilemma. While I held he found the perfect solution. A quality aftermarket CD player that fits inside the console and is totally controlled through the touch screen on the Cadillac. It was in stock at his distributor in Marietta Georgia. I gave Shawn the green light and at noon Friday four days later, I drove away from Paul's listing to Otis Redding on Abby's CD on her...
Read moreI honestly wish I had a good experience with this place. I bought my car almost 10 days ago. It included a jl audio system. I called Paul’s because I wanted their opinion on why my system sounded faint when I turned my bass up almost all the way. So I sent it to the guys with “so much experience” they suggested I replace rear speakers I did 450$ later they call me saying it’s still doing the same thing. I now need an amp. Your experience told me it was speakers now it’s not. They had a sign saying all sales final only con artists operate that way. They also messed up my buttons where I adjust my seat and have had me come up there 3 times in 3 days to not fix the damage they did. These photos are before and after they worked on my car. And no they have...

Incomplete install, i.e. speakers not screwed in / mounted in all the way; sound deadening (ask for pictures after they install). I didn't find out until many months later when I replaced my speakers, that the money I spent for the sound deadening here was only placed right behind the speaker ( very small section right behind the speaker ). I had requested complete sound deadening of the entire vehicle. Prices weren't up to par with the install. I only go to one place now for my car audio installs and DSR1 tuning; its not here. On a positive note, maybe they were having a bad day or you could possibly have...
