Follansbee City Swimming Pool — Local services in Follansbee District

Waste of money, I recommend driving the extra 15 minutes and going to wells park pool. Diving boards were closed due to being “short staffed” however the 5 staff members that’s were working sat together right by the entrance talking instead of being spread around the pool at their stations. They literally all sat together right at the entrance talking the entire time. My kids were literally the only 3 people at the pool. If the workers would have actually been doing there job instead of sitting together talking the whole time then the diving boards could have easily been open, then they had the nerve to still take their “breaks” like clock work even though they were on break the entire time they were working. 5 workers literally sat together talking the ENTIRE time instead of actually working. Incredibly lazy group of women. Will absolutely never return to this pool and recommend anyone thinking about going just drive the few extra minutes and go...

The pool was clean but super crowded. The changing area is really small inside the stalls and disgusting. Also, I get that it is FCFS on the seating. However, I believe if a woman comes and brings 6-8 kids, it isn't right to "save" seats that no one is even sitting in when other adults would like just one seat. I made the mistake of taking an end seat that had absolutely nothing on it and one woman whom had many kids with her, came up to me and suddenly told me "I took over their spot".... 😵 I would have made my children give an adult a seat.
