Love the outdoor views by the pool area and watching the sunrise as it comes up from behind the hills. Great location for taking pictures of mother nature.
It seems to be a particular favorite spot for very responsible dog owners to bring their disciplined and well trained dogs to run and play. I have visited this area at various times throughout the day and I've never seen more than one or two pet owners there at a time. It would not be a problem if anyone is concerned about dogs around them or their children/family members.
This park is well maintained both inside and out. Additionally, I've never seen any thing but true respect for the park from the patrons who utilize it.
Unfortunately, even before this pandemic... the bathrooms have always been locked and no water has ever been turned on for the water...
   Read moreSo disappointed the orangevale community center. The pool was supposed to open on June 11th. It was not they posted a sign saying they were trying to get staff and they were hoping for the 18th to open. We took our granddaughters on the 18th to find out still not open. They did however have a huge swim meet that day with a shaved icee truck. We spent $15 on 3 small shaved ice treats my granddaughters thought they were awful! Poor quality syrup flavors. I have tried calling the community center several times to find out when the pool might open. I have logged on to their website and sent an email to them since they do not wish to work in office anymore. 3 days later still no...
   Read moreThe basketball players there are not strong enough, which is why they can’t build an AAU team for the kids. The coaches there are weak as well, with no effective system in place. They can’t win championships. It’s time to replace those coaches in Orangevale.
In contrast, places like Folsom, Roseville, Rocklin, and Sacramento have strong AAU players.
