Brothers Antiques — Local services in Fond du Lac

While I do understand mistakes happen, this experience was inexcusable. We drove down to pick up a table that they had advertised on Facebook Marketplace. We confirmed location and availability beforehand, and when we got to the antique store, it wasn’t the same table listed. We drove in total over two hours to and from, and not even apology could be given for the inconvenience. They made no attempt to even get back with me to let me know that the table was no longer available or that they had made a mistake. Just ran off and tasked themselves with other work. I just read the woman’s 1 star review of this place about the table and I’m not surprised. I visited this shop and the people couldn’t be more unfriendly. Just say hello to people that walk in… it’s not hard. If you want to run a successful antique store you need to be friendly. The items in the shop are quality antiques. No junk. I’ll give you that but overall you guys are super awkward...

I wish they were open more. I visit here when I can for the silver coins and other collectable coins. The brothers are friendly and helpful and often have wiggle room to work with you for any deals on things if they can.

Double check Google before coming, they sometimes close up for the weekend for family stuff and Google might say open and also closed at the same time. Can...
