Zazzera's Super Market — Local services in Forest City

I've shopped at the Zazzera's since moving to the area about 12 years ago. Decent pricing for a small town market. Recently in a pinch to grab lunch and I saw a large sub on their board said $20?! After asking, the girl said it's a 2 ft sub so ok in a pinch I ordered the sub local vs driving to subway. When I went to pay the girl tells me my total is $25.40. I went back and asked the deli to ask what was up and they said well they've raised the prices they just haven't changed them on the board, but then again nobody told me that when I asked about the $20 sub, and I ordered. For $25-30 I can get FIVE foot long subs from Subway, or CHEAPER with the app (buy one get one half off). No one at the store had any further answers and I left a message for the owner to call me but either they didn't pass a messages along at either of the two places I left the message or they just honestly don't care anymore. I don't know...

Update: My husband tried the kielbasa,he LOVED it. It is the best he has found in Pa! We have heard from several people they make kielbasa & it is good. We drove from Lake Wallenpaupack area to check it out. The store was extremely clean,well stocked & organized. The produce was fresh & cheaper than I get by my house. They have store make baked goods as well as sandwiches,hot food & soup. They all looked great. We bought a loaf of banana bread. You could smell the yummyness though the wrapper. The meat dept has good prices & a nice selection. We picked up they're fresh kielbasa,smoked & kielbasa sticks. I will update when we try the kielbasa. My husband tried sticks & loved them. This is a great home town grocery store. There deli is excellent they roast their own meats and on Sunday they bake some kind of excellent crusty bread. I have had Portuguese bread and Hard Rolls (so far)

Recently Zazzera's changed ownership and all it did was make this store even better, They now have rotisserie chicken, their selection is larger, It is now totally true that unless you are looking for something really exotic, they will have what you need.
