These men are walking examples of servitude, sacrifice, giving, love, leadership, forgiveness, and discipline. Thry know no one is perfect and they have spent their lives working with all of us who are willing to learn and grow in Christ by applying the scriptures to our lives. They constantly work, share, give, and open their homes without asking for anything in return. They teach directly from the Bible without adding to or subtracting from the Word. They patiently work with all who are willing to learn and do what is right, pleasing, and acceptable according to God's will. The result is a loving congregation that stands on truth and the spiritual family the Bible describes throughout the New Testament. The Rex Rd. Church of Christ is one-of-kind. The congregation is not just a group of people, we are a family. We individually and collectively aim to please the Lord! With different personalities, nationalities, and qualities we strive to be united. We are welcoming and loving. I have been apart of this congregation for over 16 years and I have learned and grown so much. Our elders teach the truth straight from God’s Word. They have taught me what a true Christian looks like 24/7. I have been working on changing myself for the better- desiring to be more and more like Jesus. The older ladies have a trained me to be a godly wife and mother. I don’t know who I would be or where I would be if it wasn’t for the church. I am a member of Rex road Church of Christ I joined April of 2019. Elder Williams and Elder Phillips are awesome teachers, Bishop and most of all great spiritual leaders. Their teaching encouraged me to examine my spiritual growth every time we meet and fellowship together. I am encouraged to make time to read and study God's words from the Bible. I am a single retired woman and I thank the Lord for allowing me to find the Church of Christ. I needed financial and spiritual help badly, both elders help me to get back on my feet financially and since that time ,they have continuously fed me spiritually which have enriched my life tremendously.
