Had a blast at the festival. Wood carvings are done from scratch for you to watch them do. Great food and lots of options. It also had a great variety of crafts, books, collectibles, jewelry, soaps, and clothing. This festival is only during the Columbus Day weekend Saturdays and Sundays. Kids under 12 are free. Adults are 8$ for admission, but worth it! Our family comes every other year and enjoys it every time!

The annual Sullivan County Fair is a great place to spend the Labor Day weekend. There's fun rides, great foods and wonderful agricultural & craft exhibits. The people are friendly and helpful. The grounds themselves are quaint and harken back to a simpler time.

Thanks to The Fairgrounds and Faculty/ Staff of Sullivan County High School. The class of 2019 held their Graduation ceremony here, due to a fire at the high school. It turned out great.

It was a beautiful sunny day and the leaves were just starting to show their autumn colors. I had planned to visit World’s End State Park, but on the way I discovered a Fall Festival at the Sullivan County Fairgrounds featuring lumberjack events and chainsaw carving — it sounded too fun to pass up! Admission was $8 per person, which felt a little high, but there was plenty to see. The arena hosted live chainsaw carving — impressive to watch for a bit, though 10–15 minutes was enough for me. The nearby buildings were filled with things to browse and buy, mostly local crafts. There were lots of food options too, and I couldn’t resist bringing home a pumpkin whoopie pie (which, I’ll admit, didn’t quite make it home 😉). Overall, it’s a small fairgrounds, but just right for spending a couple of relaxing hours on a...

Quaint little town or county fair. Rides seemed questionable lol. A little old for me. Seemed a little upkeep is needed on the rides lol. Food choices were awesome. Some great hometown delicacies, from Tacos to BBQ. They have local shows and a great demolition derby. I got to this area almost every year for a family trip and the fair is always a must to attend around labor...
