It was a beautiful sunny day and the leaves were just starting to show their autumn colors. I had planned to visit Worldâs End State Park, but on the way I discovered a Fall Festival at the Sullivan County Fairgrounds featuring lumberjack events and chainsaw carving â it sounded too fun to pass up! Admission was $8 per person, which felt a little high, but there was plenty to see. The arena hosted live chainsaw carving â impressive to watch for a bit, though 10â15 minutes was enough for me. The nearby buildings were filled with things to browse and buy, mostly local crafts.
