SweetShot Cakery — Local services in Forks Township

I will use Sweetshot Cakery for all my future cake needs! I saw Lisa had stellar reviews so thought I'd reach out to see what she can make for my father's 70th birthday party.

I didn't know what to expect as I have never ordered a custom cake of this caliber and she does not use a traditional store front and orders are made over the phone. She started out with the basic questions(occasion, servings, flavor, etc). As I did not have much of a vision for what I wanted the cake to look like, Lisa asked me questions about my father's interests so she could come up with a design. Lisa was an absolute pleasure to work/talk with. You can tell how much she cares about making memorable cakes for any occasion.

Fast forward to the cake pickup, Lisa schedules a time for pickup so you have an individualized experience viewing the cake. This gives you 1 on 1 time to take in the magnificence of the cake. I was speechless and overwhelmed with how the cake turned out. I would never have imagined the cake could have turned out the way it did. Everyone at the party raved about the cake's design. It was my first time cutting a tall cake but Lisa sent me instructions which made it a breeze. Everyone's senses got a second shot when we tasted the cake. My father's family loves carrot cake and they all agreed it was the best carrot cake they've ever had. The custom Sweetshot cake was definitely a memorable and significant part of my father's celebration.

Looking at this beautiful delicious cake creation, I'm so glad we found Lisa the owner of SweetShot Cakery. She is professional, very special, sweet and a beautiful young lady inside out. Her beautiful setting for our cake tasting session when we first met open our eyes to see how genuine and so much love she pour into her creation. I sent her earlier the sample of what kind of cake and the design I wanted. She managed to created a beautiful cake sample that immediately captured my eyes! From that moment on we knew without a doubt that she is the one and only person who can create our wedding cake exactly how we want it to be. Every design, every flavor and every decorations details she created exactly the way we wanted it to be. The moment we step inside the reception hall, I knew I finally have the wedding cake of my dream. Working with Lisa was a great experience from beginning to end. We were lucky to be able to work with her for our wedding reception cake, and she definitely delivered! The cake was aesthetic, the perfect size, and best of all tasted delicious. She was very easy to work with and extremely punctual (you should also expect to be punctual as she’s very busy). We had a couple of back and forth conversations about the flavors, which she explained in detail about. We ended up going with a 2 tier cake- bottom tier was vanilla with dulce de leche filling, and the top tier was triple chocolate. Both tiers was delicious. Lisa arrived at the venue at the perfect time and strategically and carefully placed the cake. Last but not least, the price was very reasonable!
