Cliff House at Otter Point — Local services in Fort Bragg

The house is spacious and can provide privacy for 2 to 3 families, it is in a beautiful location and it is quiet so you can relax.

For the price I would recommend some upgrades to the home owners. The internet is weak. I get there's not a lot of ISP's out here, but the signal throughout the house is spotty. I would recommend they invest $300 in a mesh network. We were told the hot tub was drained and refilled. When we checked in there was a guy here filling it, but he certainly didn't clean it. The water was foggy and had a yellowish tint to it and there as lots of hair floating around. Having a hot tub myself, I took the filter out to wash it off, mistake ... you dont want to see a filter like that ... ewwww!!!

There are signs that say due to the drought you can't use the washing machine, to go to the launder-mat, clearly they are not worried about the drought as much as they are their water bill ... doing laundry near by still uses the same amount of water from the same aquifer ...

Finally, the kitchen was missing some basics, like a whisk, and the frying pan needs to be replaced ... the nonstick coating is chipping off.

All in all it was a great stay in a peaceful setting ... but for the price, it wasn't all it was...

It is absolutely a magical location. Every room is "in the ocean", with views that stretch for 100's of degrees; yes its possible! There are birds galore, seals and sea lions on the cliff. The little bench on the cliff edge has a wind break. It's only 0.8m to the lighthouse across the front: walk starts at end of first rd on right. The lighthouse flashes every 10s, in an X-beam configuration, the lens is a box, like a die...
