Passport America was nice for $25 night, right off of 101. Nice off-leash dog area. There is a good gas station at the entrance to the park. This picture was taken out our camper window facing some strange permanent campers. We didn’t feel super safe here and the spots are unlevel and not clean. I have it 2 stars as it is a good location to Black Sand Beach which you must see! It is about an hour drive. We went twice!

Nice little campground nestled in the trees. Great value for the price. There are pull thrus with full hook ups for big rvs in the open area. The manager was wonderful! I asked about a military discount and she said they don't do that anymore. The next morning while getting ready to leave, I found this on my window thanking me for my service. We will definitely stop here again!

Nice and relaxing in a more campsite setting (site 14). No cell or internet services. Washrooms badly in need of upgrade but water not a problem. Laundry facilities not in good shape at all. Most of the machines are out of service and the room is not in good shape either. Easy walk down to the river.

We came in on a Monday. The office is closed on Sunday and Monday. It's easy to register as an after hours camper. What touches me personally, was half price for Veterans. USAF 68 to 72. We were treated badly when we came home to the USA. I feel a connection with these folks as my wife does too. I never saw the owner as we left early before the office opened. I simply indicated on the receipt my history. They trusted me and gave us a discount for Prior Military Service. It touches my heart to be appreciated for serving. The park is getting older but the sites are perfectly acceptable. Large pull throughs, but I won't tell you my favorite because I want it next time. Perfect place for folks that want to see Richardson Park but want hook ups or are too large for the State Park. If you want a quiet, clean, nice place to camp,...

Convenient location on the southern end of the Avenue of the Giants. Very friendly staff. They have a chapel building from the days when this was a church camp. You don't see that at many RV parks. Full hookups are $55 for 30 amp, water and sewer. Wifi available but not included. No cable. That's a rather high price point with the services offered. I stayed at another park at the northern end of the Avenue of the Giants. For $35 I not only got full hookups but high speed (streamable) wifi as well. The next park I stayed at charged the same rate of $55 but included 50 amps, cable, wifi, a game room and a pool. I would love to give this park a higher rating, but they will need to adjust their pricing (or...

Report from your shirtless host Just 9 mi. South of Garberville and 3 hr. North of Santa Rosa, This camp is in the red woods an open year around-full hook up, cabins General store. This is a full service camp and a true Redwood family camp ground has alot to do. Rev. Nancy Fomasi is the manager & the hosts are some of the nicest people you well meet. South of the avenue Of the Giants.( Which is a must ) The showers & bath room are always...
