Richardson Grove RV Park — Local services in Fort Bragg

We came in on a Monday. The office is closed on Sunday and Monday. It's easy to register as an after hours camper. What touches me personally, was half price for Veterans. USAF 68 to 72. We were treated badly when we came home to the USA. I feel a connection with these folks as my wife does too. I never saw the owner as we left early before the office opened. I simply indicated on the receipt my history. They trusted me and gave us a discount for Prior Military Service. It touches my heart to be appreciated for serving. The park is getting older but the sites are perfectly acceptable. Large pull throughs, but I won't tell you my favorite because I want it next time. Convenient location on the southern end of the Avenue of the Giants. Very friendly staff. They have a chapel building from the days when this was a church camp. You don't see that at many RV parks. Full hookups are $55 for 30 amp, water and sewer. Wifi available but not included. No cable. That's a rather high price point with the services offered. I stayed at another park at the northern end of the Avenue of the Giants. For $35 I not only got full hookups but high speed (streamable) wifi as well. The next park I stayed at charged the same rate of $55 but included 50 amps, cable, wifi, a game room and a pool.
