This place is really great! The staff keep it very clean and well stocked. The bathrooms are heated which is always a good thing on cold mornings/nights. The picnic areas are also super clean, I saw staff cleaning the tables(thank you staff), no overflowing trash cans anywhere. The area is beautiful. There is the expected highway noise, but who cares, the cleanliness more than compensates for the expected noise. There are also trains going by, but I like trains :) The welcome center is still covid-closed, but that's okay. Ample space to walk around and stretch your legs, plus the Indian Village is very close to look thru the shops and buy...

We always use this stop when traveling I40. Restrooms are always clean, and we always see one or two people working on keeping it that way. It's always well stocked with toilet paper. There are hand dryers in the bathrooms, no paper towels. It's heated in the winter. It's a pretty stop, with picnic tables on both ends, nice views, and a dog walk. Sadly, we haven't seen the main visitor center area open for years, but there is a pavilion with info on the area. Also, half of the stalls have been closed off, leaving 3 stalls, including an ADA...

We were visiting National Parks and other historic sites in Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas on our road trip. Thank you, Arizona, for making us feel welcome in your state and providing us with such memorable experiences as we viewed your beautiful...
