Worst customer service ever. My mother is in hospice and the gentleman that delivered her hospital bed was not knowledgeable about how the bed worked or what I needed to do to use it. He told me his job was to set it up and that is all he did. He made numerous trips out to his vehicle and tracked snow all through the house. He left and the next day I get a telephone survey and based on my responses a follow call from Acadia was supposed to be done. Never heard from them. 6 days later the bed (broke) so we thought. Mind you my mom is not mobile so we had to call the ambulance for a lift assist to get her out of the bed so the bed could be repaired. Turns out the bed wasn’t broke, but rather the gentleman who put it together didn’t bother to put the motor cover on, so the motor fell out of the casing and onto the floor. Called Acadia to again voice my concern, that has been almost 4 weeks and I am still waiting for a return call. To top it all off I am now stuck with the ambulance bill of $100 because they didn’t transport the insurance won’t pay. I wouldn’t recommend this company...
   Read moreSo I received a call from Acadia Medical in Fort Fairfield about making an appointment to pickup my BPAP machine, after sending my doctor an email as I thought they came out to deliver it, they had agreed that they would come deliver it and set it up for me. My sleep apnea is so bad that this was a big thing for me, Christy arrived on time, very friendly, showed me how everything worked, assured me if I had an questions at all to call, she gave me her phone number. She definitely deserves a raise. It makes me feel better knowing I can just pick up the phone to get things fixed, or changed. So far things are going good. Thanks again to Christy.    Read moreTerribly disappointed in the service. Medical bed was delivered with missing parts that would not allow us to raise the head portion of the bed. When contacted, we were told they’d be delivered the next morning. The next afternoon we called again to see when the delivery would be since it was past what they had said and we were informed that they were “on the road to deliver the part”. 4 hours later when we called again the woman said there were no deliveries and then hung up.
If a loved one is suffering, put your money elsewhere the compassion...
