Fresh Choice Market — Local services in Fort Meade

I’ve tried to support Fresh Choice Market because I care about local businesses, but this recent situation has drawn the line for me. Earlier today, I bought a pack of hot dog buns from the store only to get home and discover visible MOLD on them. Not just a little bit, but enough that it was completely unacceptable and gut-wrenching. I took photos as proof, and I’ll be attaching them here.

This isn’t the first time I’ve seen this at Fresh Choice Market. A while back, I remember seeing several bags of grapes in the produce section that were visibly moldy and still sitting out for purchase. It’s disgusting. This isn’t just about inconvenience - it’s a serious health hazard. Moldy food can make people sick, and letting expired or unsafe products sit on shelves reflects very poorly on how this store is managed and taken care of. Something needs to change.

After today, I’ve decided I will no longer be shopping at Fresh Choice Market. I sincerely hope the store takes this kind of feedback seriously and improves its quality, because the community of Fort Meade...

Poor quality and highly over-priced. As far as my only experience has been, I bought a Ben and Jerry’s ice cream tub for $8.. I knew the price was high but for the convience of it being closer than Walmart I bought it anyway. This place will steal your money. Do not run your ebt card at this business. They charged my ebt card 18.91 for a half gallon of milk and they refused to give me my money back or let me have atleast the amount worth in products they charged my card for.
