The leasing agent Shelby may seem sweet however she isn’t. She told me I would be approved in one day however that was a lie. There are several hiding fees that you are NOT told about. This is a up and coming area its quiet but there is a reason several of the apartments remain empty after nearly a year of being open.

If you’re in the market the best option would be to purchase a home as these prices are outrageous. When I initially called to schedule a tour, I was given a specific time yet she took a walk in before me. My significant other and I took time off our jobs to tour and she took a walk in before us. This was very unprofessional and she acted as if this wasn’t a big deal.

If you do not work in the area the traffic will be terrible when the children are back in school. Beware of this place. Don’t waste your time, energy or money when you can purchase a house for less with decent credit.

Lastly ask about all the admin fees and deposits if not approved where does it go. This is a trap don’t get caught up...

I can’t say enough good things about living at The Lodges in Fort Mill. From the moment I moved in, it’s felt like more than just an apartment—it’s felt like home. The grounds are clean, the units are well-kept, and the community has a calm, welcoming vibe.

But the real stars of this place are the three ladies in the front office. They are truly amazing. Every single interaction I’ve had with them has been positive. They’re kind, professional, and always willing to help with anything you need. Whether it’s handling a maintenance request or just greeting you with a friendly smile, they go above and beyond without even being asked.

It’s rare to find a team that genuinely cares about residents the way they do, and I feel lucky to have them running the show. The Lodges wouldn’t be the same...

I gave 2 stars because Gracen was a pleasure to work with and the community is actually quite lovely. However, on 5/29/25 we applied and paid all fees required. We decided not to go with The Lodges and we're fully aware that the application fee was non refundable. The administration fee is refundable so I called on 7/28/25 to inquire about the refund. Gracen called me back after she spoke with someone from the corporate office and advised that it would be a paper check and could take up to 30 days even though it had already been 30 days. My fiance called around 8/11/25 or 8/12/25 and was told it would be expedited. Here it is 8/22/25 and still no refund. This is beyond ridiculous. The Lodges needs...
