Oatman General Store — Local services in Fort Mohave

Oatman is great, love the eclectic shops and friendly towns people. However, here at the general store, the customer service and friendliness was HIGHLY lacking. The store had some neat items and I liked it over all, but we were very put off by the person running the store so we decided to make our purchases elsewhere, where they felt appreciated. I would leave a more detailed review of the behavior we experienced, but like I said, they did have a nice selection of items and I don't want to speak too horribly on a small town small business, when maybe (hopefully) they were just having a bad day. Just be aware, if you are a family with children, you may not be treated well...

The town of Oatman is great, very fun and neat shops and a lot of friendly people and adorable donkeys, however… AVOID the General Store at all costs! The wicked witch with the frizzy grey hair working the counter is the rudest, most unprofessional and unpleasant person you’ll likely ever have the unfortunate chance to encounter. Awful! Don’t waste your time or money at this store when there are so many other wonderful shops with nice and descent people...

If you enjoyed the film "Easy Rider," you will be pleasantly surprised. An exact replica of the motorcycle is on display. Many remarkable collectibles are here, as well as contemporary souvenirs. Plus, they plan to open a fudge bar. Airy, fun place to browse...
