I ordered a higher output alternator on Wednesday, Nov. 8th it cost $400+ paid upfront, and I worked directly with Tim, he told me that It would take about a week possibly two to get the item in. I already went to discount auto, and they estimated I would take about two days, so I figured Ill go head and purchase through with this store. Tim took my name and cell number and told me he would call me when it came in. After nine days passed and no one called I went in on November 17th, Tim told me hey sorry nothing yet, but it should be in by next week that would complete the 2 week waiting period, I said ok because that was not a big problem for me.
Again entire week passed no phone call so I went in again on November 24th 16 days after making the purchase. Tim said it didn't come yet, he apologized and said he would call and get a rush order to ship it out since is was over the 2week period. He took my number down again and said he would update me with what’s going on. Never got a call. At this point, I was beginning to get annoyed with the matter but figured hey It should hopefully arrive during the 3rd week.
I returned to the store after 3 full weeks passed on December 4th again no phone call nothing. Now I am upset, and Tim has zero updates for me as to why it is taking so long. Mind you I only have one car to use and been without it since Nov 8th. He calls Mechman Alternators, the company building the alternator, and they make up some excuse saying it fell off a FedEx truck and damaged and sent back to them. I figured why are we finding out about this almost a month in this process, why didn’t I get notified about this long ago?? Anyways the reason was BS because what company ships out a $400 item without proper packaging for an auto part to ensure its good??!! Regardless I didn’t have my item, and they both got their money on the front end. Tim mention he would call check with the company about a possible discount from the company and I left and he took my number down for a third time.
Finally, after an entire month on December 8th I got my 1st call from the store from one of the employees that the item was in for pickup. After getting the item, it was hard to believe it fell off the truck because it was tightly packaged and secured look at the pics posted. I didn’t get any discount or anything for the major inconvenience that I went through. In one year one other them broke down they needed to replace3d the wifi and mother board , I called Best Buy and they send geek squat to replace it , thank god it was under warranty . A couple next month the second one broke down the same way, but the tv's are only one year warranty in Best Buy . Geek squad guy came , horrible guy he was clueless and was getting phone calls from different companies calling him to hire him , he was leaving geek squad ( red Flag) . They wanted to charge me 600.00 dollars to fix and put a mother board on a Samsung tv that was 1 year and 3 moths old . I told him that I am going to call Samsung company , which I did they were willing to replace all parts but not the labor of 145.00 dollars . I agreed they gave me a ticket number and emailed a company name CODE APPLIANCES ( horrible company) I wait two weeks for this company to call which they never did . After calling Samsung and complaining about CODE APPLAINCE is not calling me to repair my tv. One Latina lady from Samsung gave me a new ticket with a new company TV CENTER ELECTRONICS . Within 3 hours I Geta call form them . I spoke to a professional gentleman , he said I will order all the parts that Samsung said to replace and call you when parts come to schedule the service day . That took a week and today the service guy ( anthonio ) came and replace , so professional and did the work so fast , Outstanding service . I would recommend this company 100% . great service and very professional . NEVER BUY A TV FROM BEST BUY , WARRANTY IS ONLY ONE YEAR . I asked him if he would put some speakers in my car so I would have some Bass and I would make payments and he said yes. Not only speakers but he put Competition Speakers, an Amp AND A NEW RADIO. I made my payments but still to this day I'm Thankful that he done that. Just all around great guy. I had the honors of meeting his son who looks just like him the other day and to no surprise he has the same heart.
