Brainerd Motorsports Park — Local services in Fort Oglethorpe

Great place for drag racing... I am not certain what types of vehicles they have races for but from what I have seen it is quite a few different classes. Tons of old school muscle cars here...drag cars...race trucks...bikes and just about anything you can build yourself to GO FAST is the place to be. It is all outdoor seating..bleacher style right by the start line. There is a great atmosphere suitable for families..kids etc. They have consessions as well and restrooms. There is ALOT of parking for racers and their car haulers or rvs as well. I am not sure of the ticket prices now or if certain ages get in free. You would need to check that at the ticket booth which is located just inside the fence when you enter. If you like cars and racing you will enjoy it here. I would recommend protective device for kids or people that are sensitive to loud sounds. It is quite loud there at the start line. Go check it out and see...

Our whole family went to the monster truck show…. It was great… I know it’s the time of the year for rain and muddy mess but man oh man my kids were covered in mud and they are not little kids either🙃🤦‍♀️ the cost for us 6 to go for our daughters 14th birthday was $240 … outside of those two things ( the cost makes it hard for families to go out and about and do things and support the local places, that’s for sure) my kids had a blast and that’s what matters! Thank you for doing this! Was a ton of fun! This is one thing we have done for either my birthday or her birthday every year since she was 2! And we have not the past two years that we have lived in Ga so this was the best birthday gift 💝 🎁they as well got to ride on one! What a blast! ( wouldn’t let me upload the video)

As a spectator I enjoyed it, as pit access was allowed. There was reasonably priced food available that tasted just fine. Porta potties available. One set of stands was tricky to go up and the top row was just plain dangerous. There was a tall wobbly rail, and if sitting there was nothing to keep you from falling backwards 5-6 feet to the pavement. That could get ugly. If I has been a racer, the staging lanes were smooth, level, lanes clearly marked, about perfect. The waterbox was pull thru, which is nice and they really prepped the track. Very nice. The pits could use some more pavement. Overall looks like it would be good to run here. Oh, if one lane red-lights, the other lanes win light...
