In response to Rack Electric response to me on 7/24/24: The maintenance plan I mentioned was from 2023 NOT 2024 May 29/24 I contacted your company to schedule a maintenance service. I was scheduled for 7/8/24. Noone showed up. 7/8/24 in the afternoon, my generator was showing a problem on the mobile link. I called your company again wondering where you guys were for my appointment and I was told you moved me to the 17th. But then since my generator was having a problem you said you could come out the following day to fix it. John came out but told us his equipment wasn't working properly and he couldnt locate the problem. However, that Rack would come out the next day but they would call me first. Noone called. I called and called with no response. I repeat.. NO SERVICE was completed on 7/9/24. I NEVER spoke to Renee. They never did the Minor maintenance so why would they schedule to Major one? I DID NOT receive a major service on 1/24/24. I DID NOT receive a major service on 7/18/24 ITS really sad that you are making stuff up now. The attached picture shows my mobile link for my generator. Notice no maintenance was due in January. Service A was needed on 5/29/24. You scheduled me for 7/8/24 so I guess it was not 2 months out but 1 1/2 months out. But then you never showed up.. If you look at the photos I added.. The pictures are of my mobile link telling what is up with the generator. If you fixed the problem on 7/9/24.. then WHY does it still say it is NOT WORKING.. check the dates everyone.. PLEASE DO NOT USE RACK ELECTRIC... they lie lie lie I signed up with Rack in 2023 They came out once and did a great job I signed up for their maintenance service plan. When it came time for my maintenance, they said I was out of contract.. hummmmm They gave me an appointment for 2 months away after I signed another agreement They did not show up for that appointment. I called and they said.. oh.. we moved you to the 17th… Another 2 weeks away.. well by now my generator needed service.. so they sent John out the next day.. he showed up and said he “didn’t have the right equipment “. Someone would come back. Well my generator turned off.. that day.. my appointment was on a Monday.. no show.. Tuesday John showed up and said he didn’t have the right equipment to test the system.. I called several times on Wednesday Thursday AND Friday with ZERO RESPONSE. Meanwhile my generator is STILL NOT WORKING.. now I have been emailing every day to get a refund for the maintenance plan since they can’t seem to get their act together. It’s Tuesday.. I finally got an email from them… only to say.. I’m sorry about your experience with us. Please leave a review on google with the service guys name.. REALLY?? Where here is your zero star review

Our whole house generator is 90% complete; We are waiting for the gas hook up, testing and final inspection. It’s been a long process; we gave our deposit in February. The people I’ve talked to on the phone have been very helpful. I name here Jacqueline & Justine in the gas division; Jennifer in electrical and lastly, Katie in permitting. In my frustration over early lack of communication, Katie even gave me her personal cell number if I had any questions or concerns. Communications via email & text has been great since the early frustrations. The workers that have come out to do the work have been top notch. Since the tank guys came most recently, I have their names: Luetener, Dieulet & Moises; Diligent, conscientious workers. See my photos; the finished product looks great. They even reset 2 sprinkler heads I had dug up to locate the main header, so they wouldn’t hit it. The tank had been set on Wednesday and the city inspector needed to see the hole & approve it before backfilling. Unfortunately rain on Thursday had raised the empty tank. On Friday when they came to backfill, Luetener insisted that the tank needed to be pulled out to remove dirt & water that had accumulated from the rain, which they did. I loved his ownership and pride. I couldn’t be happier with the finished product! I was unhappy with the original lack of communication from Rack, as it felt like they had my near $7k down payment and I was forgotten; I almost fired them over this. However, I’m glad I didn’t; the patience to hang with them has paid off in spades. I’m looking forward to the final hook up and have this baby ready to roll! Great job, Rack! Kudos to your staff of conscientious employees!

By far the most problems we’ve had with a routine maintenance service. Cancelled the original appointment via an email. I think a phone call would’ve been more appropriate so I would’ve known the technician wasn’t coming (I don’t check my personal email everyday unless I’m expecting something) and I could’ve rescheduled the appointment for a date/time that would’ve allowed for me to be home. Instead, Rack rescheduled on their own, didn’t tell me about the scheduled service and sent a technician when I was at work. I found out he was coming when he called me that he was 20 minutes away. We have a privacy fence near the generator so the neighbors don’t have to see the generator. The tech decided to remove the fence and put it back in the ground half ass (would’ve been nice to at least receive a phone call asking to remove the fence or tell me he was sorry that he couldn’t re-install it properly). All the previous tech’s were able to do the maintenance inspections without removing the fence even though I offered. Additionally, when I came home and checked the area there was a bolt on the pathway. I inspected the generator and found that the bolt was from the battery area cover. I reinstalled the bolt and fixed the fence. A unusually poor performance from Rack Electric on this maintenance visit.

Today Tanner did a full service on our Generac Generator. This is our first time utilizing Rack Electric's Service. We too out a service contract, which entitles us to 2 six months service onour Generator. Money well spent for peace of mine. The customer service department from Christine to Joe was both Professional and explained in detail all my questions and concerns. Tanner did a thorough outstanding job. The entire team are assets to Rack Electric. I couldn't be happier. Today, Dec 13th, 2024, I had my Generac serviced by Cory Harris, a top-notch professionally trained Rack Electric Technician. The red light was on indicating that there was a problem and the unit did not self check on its weekly programmed day. I was able to get a quick accommodating appointment to troubleshoot the problem. Cory performed a complete diagnostic and found that the battery was dead. He changed the battery and then proceeded to do a complete service that I have done every 6 months. I also have a service contract that I highly recommend you sign up for because it saves you money. Cory is honest, personable and an amazing asset to Rack as well as to their customers. The entire company is efficient and Professional. So I suggest giving them a call you won't be disappointed. I once again have peace of mind that my generator will perform in a...
