*edit still scammers!! They are absolutely scam artists! They have had our refrigerator for over a month now. I questioned initially if there would be any issues with repairs because they look like they had a large workload anyways. I was reassured they were just buddy sales appliances. I was told the test takes about a week, but when I called after a week they said they didn't even have the stuff to perform the test, and we're still waiting on it. Then they told my husband the test would only be a day. Ok, it's now been three weeks without an update. When we call it's always "you were on the list to call today" 🙄 when I ask for an update the information is lies. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
Edit, they couldnt find anything wrong, said we could pick it up on a Wednesday, then miraculously found a pinhole leak and was fixing it for free because they have had our fridge for a month and a half it Will be ready by Monday. Call on Monday and the owner is not there it will be Tuesday!! Ridiculous! We just went to get our fridge. Nothing has been fixed. I don't believe they did...
Read moreAfter two (2) power outages in one day due to storms in our area, I found that the control board for my Maytag refrigerator was not operating, which caused a complete shut-down of the cooling sytem. I called Affordable Appiances of Fort Smith to see about a replacement board, as well as a service call to repair. Denton was extremely helpful, and although he did not have the part in-stock, he was able to resource the part from a local company, and even included the price for what I should be paying! I was able to get the part and install it all before loss of food in my refrigerator. In my opinion, Denton and Affordable Appliances of Fort Smith demonstrated that neighborly customer service we all look for in a company and has earned my business and recommendation for any future work I might need! Thanks again, Denton, for going...
Read moreI was having an issue with my washing machine not spinning. The troubleshooting I was doing was leading me to need to replace the motor. I spoke with Affordable over the phone, and they asked that I bring the motor in so they can match it up with a replacement one. When I got there, we went over the symptoms, the steps I had taken to troubleshoot, testing, etc. But they said before I spend a couple hundred dollars on buying a new one from them, to try an easy fix first. They sent me home with a small part, and what do you know? It worked. I went back and paid them $20 for the part they sent me home with, and my washer has been fine since then. I really appreciate these guys spending the time to figure it out with me. What could have cost $200 to fix, ended up being taken care of with a $20 bill. Good...
