Our group had a great time! The attractions were well built (the dragon head was sick!), the actors we engaged with were professional and added so much to the experience. Compared to others in the area, this one is well worth the money and I highly recommend doing both the castle and the forest bundle for the cost.

I mean, ok is actually a good value and lots to do. They put a lot into their haunted areas and there's a lot to go through. I love a couple things that have been yearly stalwarts. Overall I like it, not as good as others I've been to but it's recommended- kids love it.

It's been over 20 years since the last I been here. I'm glad to say me an my family still had a good time. I glad to see even after 20 years you still got the Coffin drop.

Five of us waited in the first line to get security checks for half an hour. Then we got in line for tickets, which surprisingly was only five minutes. After buying tickets to BOTH the forest and the castle, we decided to the do the castle first, as we've heard the forest is "scarier". We waited for OVER AN HOUR in line for just the castle. The trip through the castle took maybe fifteen minutes. Mind you, the temp was in the mid 30s. Once we finished the castle we realized we had twenty minutes before the place closed and the line for the forest was even longer than the castle. I don't think I'll EVER come back here. They required us to "check in" our vaporizers. This is ironic due to the high amount of fake fog from fog machines in the area, machines that literally use the exact same ingredient as a vaporizer 🤦🏻‍♀️ The ONLY good things I have to say about this place is that the popcorn was cheap, tasted good and that the children who "acted" in the castle were decent at their jobs. Whoever runs this place during the Halloween season needs to figure out the waiting areas. It is just PLAIN RIDICULOUS to have FOUR LINES in one place!! Children should not have to wait that long in the cold. There weren't even outdoor heaters...

Last night's Opening Night was awesome. The staff were amazing and were always there to help. Kid volunteers from the school's Boy Scout Troop were very good at making things spooky and scary. The guys with the chainsaws were plenty scary. (I was not scared though). The vendors were great and the lines to wait were short. Black Forest is definitely the scariest of the two. By passes for strobe light areas and slides also made the adventure really interesting. The Haunted Castle is probably the best for families and small children. The Black Forest is more scary for maybe for 10+ year olds (I would prefer). Also just a comment, the ground there is a bit muddy so if you guys or volunteers could possibly get some wood and cover the ground, it would be much better forlpeople so they don't get muddy. Great place and I hope to go there again soon this Halloween...

The Haunted Castle is a lot of fun for kids and their parents--best for ages 5-12. Be aware that there is a part were you MUST go into a coffin on the floor and it drops out from under you into a short slide, but the parents can have the little ones lay on top of them and they can go together. Also, there are a couple of longer slides during the tour that I would not recommend for the older adults. Seriously, it will bang you up and hit your ankles and elbows and back and you'll be sore the next day. Beware. You can ask to go around the stairs and meet your kid at the end of the slide should you choose.

For the Black Forrest it is scary for little kids, so I would not recommend it for kids easily scared or little kids under 10...some adults might be freaked out a little too! They do...
