I have hesitated to post this bc I don't think it will do any good but after the results I got from going somewhere else, I think people should know. When I came HERE, It was my first time ever getting any kind of fillers so I didn't know what to expect or what was normal. When I walked in the room, the syringe of "filler" was already opened on a tray so I did not see the technician open it. I had my procedure done of one full suringe of Juvederm Ultra lip filler and THAT DAY I was thrilled with my results. Within 1 week the swelling went down and I was still happy. After 2 weeks, they were meh. Within 4 weeks, my results were gone. Like completely gone. I called to book another appt for ANOTHER full syringe of lip filler. I raised my concerns while there that this was very expensive to only last 4 weeks and was told it should last 6 months to 1 year on average. One girl there said she had hers done 2 years before. But that this 2nd treatment would be "layering" the filler on top of what I had done before so it would last longer, but that all metabolism were different su the times can vary. When I walked in the room, the syringe was open on the tray. Had a full syringe applied. And again THAT day, it looked great. Swelling ensues, goes away after about a week, but after only 1 month my results were completely gone. I went online and saw that some places dilute the product with saline. Again, BOTH times I had it done, the syringe was already open when I walked in the room. I decided to go somewhere else. During my consult, at an actual plastic surgeons office the nurse said she did not detect ANY filler in my lips at all. I told her what had happened prior, but not where, and she told me that some places dilute using saline and use thinner needles to reduce pain and both shortens the life of the product. That day I had my lips redone using the exact same product. She opened the packaging of the filler in front of me. 9 months later I am JUST NOW starting to think about getting a touch up, CLEARLY it was not the product, or my metabolism. I suspect the product was diluted for my first two experiences, and I was scammed in order to keep coming back bc typically people in Southlake have money like that. . $1100 down the drain. I plan to file a complaint with the BBB bc when I voiced my concerns about it only being 4 weeks since my first full syringe, and the results being completely gone, someone should have taken notice bc even the juvederm website states 6-12 months. Instead they told me to wear lipstick every day and to "fall in love" with my lips. But didn't offer any kind of discount or refund for product failure, or even to look into WHY it didn't work correctly, or the phone number to juvederm to report the problem. My issue is with the manager Ashleigh. I was participating in a contest (photo taken on day one, compare to photo after a year of treatment and winner gets a FREE year)for a year. She didn't even pull my results and I was not included in the final judgement. When I spoke to her about it, she told me that I didn't buy product from them. I explained I got my product through other outlets which was less expensive, and she said I had to buy it through them. So, I said that it doesn't really matter what my results were, the winner was the one who purchased the most product through them. I am mostly upset because of how she dismissed me and treated me during the conversation. THEN she told me the contest was just for fun and not to take it too seriously. The winning prize was 12 months of VIP membership (12x$119 = $1428 value), I don't think that is something "just for fun". I believe that is a significant prize. Not to mention, I have been asking the staff for months when the contest was ending and no one could ever provide me any sort of response. I just can't express my satisfaction with Amy and the staff at Hidden Door Medspa - Southlake location, it was my first appointment at this location and they did not disappoint. From my first step in the door I was greeted with kindness and warmth. After completing my paperwork Amy and Sydnee escorted me to the very relaxing spa treatment room. Amy would preform my facial and Sydnee would be observing. Hidden Door believes in detailed training for new staff members before actually taking on their own clients. (An added plus in my opinion)
Amy began with several questions regarding my normal skin care routine and the treatments I had received in the past. She asked what I wanted to get out of this facial and then customized the next hour of treatment and pampering for my needs. I received the most relaxing facial....Amy had the most gentle and soothing touch during each step.
