I recently visited a nail salon with my son for a deluxe spa pedicure, and I must say that our experience left much to be desired. The main issue we encountered was the unexpectedly short duration of the pedicure, which lasted only about 20-25 minutes.

Upon checking out, I expressed my disappointment to the receptionist, and inquired about the typical duration of pedicures at the salon. To my surprise, she mentioned that pedicures usually last between 30-45 minutes. This inconsistency in the stated timeframe was quite confusing and further added to our disappointment.

He was seated at approximately 1:47pm, and the pedicure service had not started yet. We completed the entire process and paid for the service by 2:14pm.

What bothered me the most was the lack of clarity regarding the duration of each service on the salon's menu. It is essential for establishments to provide accurate information to their customers, ensuring transparency and managing expectations. Regrettably, this was not the case during our visit.

Considering the circumstances, it feels as though we were shortchanged during our pedicure session. Despite the fact that there was no customers waiting, and only two other customers being serviced simultaneously, our time was cut short. This leads me to believe that the shorten service may have also been due to the fact that the pedicure was for a teenage boy. Had I been aware that my son would not receive the full experience of the deluxe pedicure, I would have requested a child price instead.

The lack of transparency and the shortness of our service left us feeling dissatisfied and somewhat ripped off. 2-star review instead of 1-stars because everyone was actually nice. I have been here multiple times and while they have made mistakes before, they usually fixed them when I called. However, my last visit was completely unacceptable. I went in for a fill last Friday and was told my nails were too broken, which I understood. The technician, Amy, started removing my old acrylics by prying them off with another nail instead of properly soaking them. I told her several times that it hurt, flinched, and even said “ouch,” but she kept going. When she forced one off my thumb, she cut me and made me bleed. She did not apologize. She just poured powder on it and continued. At that point all of my nails were sore, especially my thumb, and she still tried to file them down while I was telling her it hurt. I finally told her I could not continue because I was in pain. Instead of showing concern, she just said “OK” and still charged me for a soak off, which I absolutely did not get. When I went to the front to pay the lady asked if I was in a rush. I was not in a rush. I was in pain and did not want my nails done anymore. I have been to every nail salon in the Alliance area this one is hands down THE BEST! If you’re debating between here and across the street, choose here! I AM SO SERIOUS! Heidi and her husband Tom were BEYOND accommodating, kind, non judgemental and provided a welcoming, fun experience for both of us! It is my daughter’s 12th birthday and we both got our nails done. Their precious daughter went next door and got my baby girl a sprinkle donut with a “fork candle” and they all busted out a Happy Birthday song for her. My heart dang near exploded, y’all! My nails needed A LOT of work because they were a mess and my daughter had never had acrylics. Needless to say, both of our nails look FANTASTIC and are perfect!
