Alberta Falls — Local services in Four Corners States

This is an easy yet scenic hike. Took the family of flatlanders with two little ones and they had a blast, running ahead, checking out all the interesting rocks/boulders and climbing the man made steps. The trail is plenty wide in most spots, offers a good variety of vegetation, rock formations, wildlife and the sound of falling water on much of the trail. It was a wonderful time to hike. Very short hike, not too hard. There’s a bit of an elevation in the return for novice hikers but nothing unmanageable. There’s a neat little info center at the beginning of the hike for those who need to purchase a poncho or tools for hiking. The little creek that runs along is lovely and a good build up as you follow it uphill to the falls. The final falls itself are lovely. It’s family friendly and a great hike to do with kids as well. You take the Bear Lake Road to get to this trail. Alberta Falls is a short hike with beautiful views in Rocky Mountain National Park. Rocky Mountain National Park entry fee is $20 for one day and $35 for 7 days and be aware of their timed entries before you go.

It's not that challenging of a hike. It's a highly trafficked trail so be prepared to see lots of people on the trail. The views are great to stop...
